"Give me the helpless, the lost, the homeless little ones struggling just to live, the innocent refuse of an uncaring land. Send these, the weak abandoned lives to me -I offer hope, care warmth & love."

The Pledge of a Rescue Worker

You Can Help Save A Life

DONATIONS

Like most non-profit rescue groups, Hope for Life Rescue, Inc. depends on public support to achieve it goals and improve animal welfare. At Hope for Life Rescue we strive to be financially responsible and we report regularly to our donors on how their donations are being used. At present our organization is run totally by dedicated, self-sacrificing volunteers and local corporate sponsors have provided our advertising, administrative and mailing needs. What this means is that all the money received goes straight to the care of the rescued animals.

Please consider sending in a one-time donation or better yet, become a partner by committing to a monthly donation of $5, $10 or more.

ADOPTIONS

There are so many homeless animals in our society. If you are looking to add to a new member to your home, please consider adopting from a rescue group, shelter or animal sanctuary. Become part of the solution to companion animal homelessness.

If you live in the greater Tidewater area of Virginia, or bordering North Carolina cities please check out our available adoptables.

If you live out of our area, please check out those rescues and shelters in your local area.

FOSTER CARE PROVIDER

Foster Care Homes are one of the most important elements of our group. Since we don't have a shelter or sanctuary (yet!), we need homes to temporarily house cats and dogs until they can be adopted. Check out "Why Foster" to learn more about the rewards of being a foster care provider. Interested? Fill out a "Foster Application" today.

VOLUNTEER

Hope for Life Rescue volunteers come with many different faces, interests and talents. They are young, old and in-between; they are male and female; they are professionals, military personnel, stay-at-home moms, single parents, students and retirees; some want to work hands-on with the animals, some prefer to use their talents in other ways and some are even allergic to animals and work from home-all of them have one thing in common - a desire to help save a little life, to better their community and to give a little [or a lot] of themselves and their time. If you are interested in sharing your time and talents please give us a call.

Buckwheat wow

I'm Buckwheat and I'm about 7 years old. I have the sweetest disposition and I love long walks and sleeping in bed. My perfect home would be someone who is at home because I do have seperation anxiety.
